The Jones Beach water tower poses for yet another picture.Long Island Home / Vince DiMiceli
There was a school trip to the Wild Play zip line course at Jones Beach State on Monday but not much else going on, and the only noise you heard while walking the empty boardwalk was the sounds of kids having a ball in the distance, the crash of the tide on the shore, and the occasional mew of a seagull.
Even with a stiff breeze, temperatures not topping 60, and the snack bar closed, it is still a great place to be, and quite a spectacle to behold.
While getting some early morning walking, we got some shots of what things are like at the beach before the crowd arrives. Enjoy.
